It offers excellent presentation, the material is three times heavier than water so when using Buzzers, Nymphs etc it gets down quickly to the desired depth and when using dries the material sinks, leaving the dries suspended in the surface film. Fluorocarbon has the same refractive index in water, as water itself and is therefore the most invisible line available. It also has a lower diameter than standard nylon, again aiding in presentation, and superior knot strength, it is the first choice for the serious angler and competition angler.
